This is a premiere.
It’s the first podcast in our series that’s not mixed by an artist or DJ, but by another label owner. And of course that means it’s a special one. Our spiritual brother Jan Sturm, who runs the Aerotone-netlabel, compiled quiet music for autumn evenings, sometimes melodramatic and focussed, sometimes just floating like a leave in the wind. Olde Warp is the ancient name of the town in East Germany, where he grew up. In the coming months Jan Sturm plans to record an album under that monker with lots of field recordings. So it’s not really a premiere after all, you say? Be quiet, I am thinking.
